As the number of candidates has increased to 11 – 3 for mayor and 8 for councilor positions – we have changed our plan for providing the community with information about the candidates.
We have invited all councilor candidates to an all-candidates meeting at the Community Centre from 10:am to 12:30 pm on Thursday, September 1.
Format:
10:00 to 12:00 – Each candidate will be asked to respond to five questions
12:00 to 12:30 – Candidates may be available to speak informally to individuals
We have asked each councilor candidate to provide a short biography that will be collated into a hand-out, available to constituents upon arrival for the meeting.
The mayoral candidates will be asked to provide written answers to questions, which will be published in the October newsletter.
